Responsible for researching new technology and finding innovative ways to incorporate new technology. Developed and designed media.dcccd.edu video streaming server for video streaming and automated closed captioning using IBM Watson. Designed a load balanced solution for this project which included a load balancer, four front end servers, an API / Database server, and a load balanced streaming video cluster. Designed and implemented a custom Joomla! site to house course content developed by DCCCD for distribution to other institutions. Managed a team of 5 web developers and projects ranging from simple websites to intrinsic web applications. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of web presences. Hired, trained, and evaluated lower level staff. Served as a technical resource, documented work process, ensured quality assurance and standardization.
